Educational Qualifications: B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, 1990) at Meerut University; M.Sc. (Physical Chemistry, 1992) and M.Phil (Analytical Chemistry, 1993), at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee; Ph.D. (entitled "Studies on oxidation chemistry of compositionally controlled paving bitumens", 1997) at Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun under supervision of Dr Hirnmat Singh under Garhwal University, Srinagar (U.P.)

Training: On analytical instruments like GC, HPLC, NMR, FT-IR etc at the Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun.

Research Experience: Worked as a Research Associate granted by CSIR, Govt. of India at Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun, October 1997 to April 1999.

Previous Experience: Worked as Assistant Manager (R&D) in Caltex Ltd., from April 1999 to June 2001 and was involved in the Development of Automotive, Industrial and speciality lubricants and greases, solvents and chemicals. Developments of Metal working fluids and rust preventive oils. Research and developmental studies on new generation lubricants keeping pace with World trends. Evaluation of additive packages, support to Technical Services, Marketing Department and Management.
Travelled to almost all leading Automotive and Industrial Industries in India to solve customer complaints, business development and product development as per their specific requirement and to simulate their conditions at the Laboratory. Actively involved in the approval of lubricants from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Having experience setting up the Caltex world-class Technology centre in Chennai.
Worked at Castrol India Limited as National CDS Manager and Regional Distributor Manager, R & D Manager, TSM and Regional Sales Manager from July 2001 to March 2009.
Responsibilities handled at Total Oil India Pvt. Ltd, Bitumen Division (From May 2010 to February 2021.
Presently working at IndianOil Total Pvt. Ltd. as Vice President-Marketing and Technical
Leading a team of 15 salespersons spread in All India geography and given 80% growth by increasing volumes as well as company GMVC. Opened various depots across India.
